Sinds 1987 produceert Ngwenya glass glazen producten van 100% recyceld glas. Het glas: jampotten-wijnflessen-limonadeflessen, wordt verzameld door de locale bevolking die een vergoeding krijgt per kilogram glas. Op deze manier is er ook aandacht voor bewustwording rondom het milieu. In de fabriek worden prachtige objecten met de mond geblazen. Van penguins tot glazen en van The Big 5 tot ornamenten als vazen. Gone Arty is sinds 1999 afnemer van deze mooie producten. Wij bezoeken Ngwenya Glass jaarlijks en komen zo iedere keer tot een nieuw assortiment.

Since 1987, Ngwenya Glass has been manufacturing glass products made from 100% recycled glass. The glass—ranging from jam jars and wine bottles to soda bottles—is collected by the local community, who receive a fee per kilogram of glass. This initiative also plays a vital role in raising environmental awareness.
In the factory, beautiful objects are meticulously mouth-blown, varying from penguins to drinking glasses, and from 'The Big Five' to decorative ornaments like vases. Gone Arty has been a proud buyer of these beautiful products since 1999. We visit Ngwenya Glass annually, allowing us to bring home a brand-new selection every single time.
